Grand Opening, Oklahoma Contemporary

The opening week’s celebrations highlighted the music of Oklahoma and interfaced with the opening exhibit of Bright Golden Haze, featuring musical arrangements of Oh What a Beautiful Morning from Oklahoma! and Swing Low, Sweet Chariot by Oklahoman Choctaw Freedman Wallis Willis. All original musical arrangements were created by Christina Giacona and Patrick Conlon. Onyx Lane provided conceptual artistic planning, arrangements, conducting, rehearsals, recording, and contracting services and worked collaboratively with Iron Bloom Creative Production and the Oklahoma Contemporary team to create a multi-media sensory experience.
