Composer, Audio Engineer, and Score Mixer

Patrick Conlon, Composer, Violinist, and ProducerCo-founder Patrick Conlon is the composer, arranger/orchestrator, audio engineer, and score mixer for Onyx Lane. He is also the Assistant Director of the Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma (ACM@UCO), a Masters-Level 310M Certified AVID ProTools Instructor and AVID Customer Association Executive Board Member, and the Principal Second Violinist of the Fort Smith Symphony. Patrick previously served as the Coordinator of Audio Operations for the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, has recording privileges at the Civic Center, Castle Row Studios, and ACM@UCO, is an expert in digital audio workstations including ProTools, Logic Pro X, Ableton Live, Max/MSP, and performs analog and digital recording, editing, mixing, and mastering services with a focus on classical ensembles, orchestral film scoring, and string arrangements for songwriters.

As a gigging musician, Patrick has been hired to accompany touring musicians in local pick-up orchestras for Weird Al Yankovic (Strings Attached), Smokey Robinson, Hanson (String Theory), Other Lives, Megan Hilty Live!, Mariachi Los Camperos, Mannheim Steamroller, the Mozart Orchestra of New York, Legend of Zelda Symphony of the Goddesses Tour, Joshua Bell, Jeremy Denk, and Mark O’Connor.
